Hoa Hong is an artist and curator living and working in Seattle, Washington. She has studied at University of Washington, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts, as well as, NYU and the New York Academy of Art where she completed residencies. Her work has been exhibited in New York, Chicago, Illinois, and Seattle. Hoa primarily paints figures with a mixture of sharp and broken details which suggest both clarity and ambiguity within her subject. Her paintings emphasize the fine line between abstraction and realism.
