Ayla Jean was born in Wenatchee WA, on the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains. She spent her early youth out of doors exploring the natural beauty of her city. As a teen she began to explore the urban centers of Seattle and Tacoma. With both rural and urban influences, her artwork has taken on a universally appealing duality. Ayla attended Seattle University to study design, but left to further her own investigation of her artistic talents.
