Stan Shire is Professor and Chair of the Photographic Imaging Department at Community College of Philadelphia. He has a BFA degree in Photography and Film from the Philadelphia College of Art (University of the Arts) and a Masters degree in Education from Beaver College. He has studied with Ansel Adams, Ray K. Metzker, Ron Rosenstock and John Paul Caponigro. His work is in the Mamiya Masters of the Medium Gallery(U.K.), Savannah Partners-Corporate Headquarters, Museo Hollander (Fuengirola, Spain)and in many private collections.
